It's been 3 1/2 years since we've blogged and soooooo much has changed. Belle is in Year 8 and she's now taller than Mum. She gave up violin last year after playing for 8 years and is now full on into basket ball. Bean is in Year 6 and busy playing trumpet, dancing, doing homework, going to Youth Group and Chicks Nite in - so busy!. Maddles is in Year 2 and took up Performing Art classes which involves dance, singing and drama. She's in her element! Millie started school (our baby has really grown up now!) this year and proves to be the wildest of the bunch. Such an imagination! Mum & Dad are both working hard to get these 4 gorgeous girls through school.

It's almost Christmas 2007 and the girls are finally on holidays. Now we have the mammoth task of cleaning the house that has deteriorated over the last few weeks of frantic running around/end of year parties/concerts, etc.

Belle has finished Grade 4 and Bean has finished Grade 2. Maddles will be going into 4yr old Kinder next year and Baby Millie is no longer a baby. She's out of nappies and sleeps in a bed however she is still partaking of mummy's milk so she's still my baby.

The girls have enjoyed playing out the roles of the nativity scene at church each Sunday of Advent. This week they will be the wise guys who brought baby Jesus the gifts. Dressing up as the angels has been their favourite so far!

Mummy and Daddy are looking forward to a break over Christmas. God bless and Christmas prayers to you all.

Birthday Bunny

We were six and now we are seven. Today we added a new member to our family. His name is Floppity-Doppity Juniper and he's a mini lop. He's sooooo gorgeous. It's only taken us 8 months to finally get our rabbit. He's living in the playroom in his cage. Now we have to make sure Baby Millie doesn't scare him too much by banging on the cage.

Bean and Maddles went to their first ballet lessons today and they looked so cute in their pink leotards and ballet shoes. Belle was off to music this afternoon so basically Mummy and Daddy are busy running children around to their different activities. Ah! The joys of parenthood! What blessings God has lavished upon us!

What we doing in June?

Looking forward to the school holidays and getting lots of visitors to our big, messy house.

Baby Millie loves walking in Mummy's shoes around the house making big clonky noises on the wooden floorboards. Belle, Bean & Maddles keep making cubby houses in the spare room, the lounge room, the playroom, basically any room they like!

Daddy regularly lights the wooden stove in the kitchen to keep the house warm but we really want to light the lounge room fire. What we need is a bigger chimney cap so we don't smoke out the house- again! Mummy's just plain busy - as usual!

Belle is up to her 60th day of practicing violin in a row! What an accomplishment! Bean has learnt 2 chords on guitar - Em and Am. Maddles loves her teddy and shu-shu! Millie loves her Mummy milk! We're still thinking of getting a rabbit soon. They'll be a family vote for the name. Watch this spot.
